Well done Dame Lexie with David Bowie's “Starman”. When Bowie was the commencement speaker at Berkeley he listed his musical influences. One of those was Julie London, a very talented actor and singer. This is “Blue Moon” which is not quite the stars but a lovely very of a classic.
@cloonfourmegan
Last week you did win wiv David Bowie and Starman. What does a Starman need? Well a starship and then nothing will stop him!
@limeoscar
So last week the winner was Bowie’s Starman, so we could do the obvious linky, but that would be borin snorin! Instead me linky be about morse code, no bear with me pals. The Starman single originally featured a "loud mix" of the "morse code" section between the verse and the chorus. That puts us in mind of other music with morse code, an probably the most famous is the theme from Morse by Barrington Pheloung, in which the opening bars in morse code spelled the word Morse!
An da winner as decided by me dad dus be ....................................... Oscar! Me dad picked dis one because funny enough he be learning morse code on his course to become officer of the watch!
Ere is wot dad said: --. --- --- -.. / .--- --- -... if you can say what that is you get a bonus point!
Lexie's Chain dus be inspired by da pawsome Radcliffe & Maconie Show wot you can has a listen to on dere website. Follow me @dogstoyevsky or #lexieschain on Twitter to join da fun. Remember anyfink goes! Rock, classical, opera, ballads, punk, reggae - is up to you! Fanx for playin!
