So clever @kelsoterrier won with Rip It Up by Orange Juice, my choice has the same title but it's by Little Richard, it sort of sprang to my mind.

It woz difficult for me to do da chainy dis week cos I neva heard of da group Orange Juice or da songy “Rip it up”. Afta trudgin to da library n doin hours n hours of dedicated research I discovers dey come from Glasgow area. If yoo squeezes an orange yoo gets orange juice but if yoo chops up n cooks an orange yoo gets marmalade. The Marmalade also comes from da Glasgow area. So for my linky dis week I chooses their hit single “Relections of my Life”.
@borderpup
We decided to fink about other bands with fruit in their names for our linky, and what could be better than anuvver citrus fruit?! Here are The Lemonheads. And not just because mum used to fancy Evan Dando. Oh no ;). The Lemonheads "Into Your Arms".
@wotterface
So last weeks winner was Orange Juice with Rip It Up. Edwyn Collins was in Orange Juice before going solo. Now Edwyn Collins got very poorly in 2005 and had a cerebral hemorrhage but despite suffering ongoing issues from this, he has carried on making music. So this got us thinking about artists who are sick but carry on. We know that Lady Gaga threw up on stage and carried in performing straight away so we chose Lady Gaga as our link. But we couldn't decide which track we liked best to pick. Then we found she had covered this song and, as the video features lots of cuddling, we chose it. After all, when you're poorly, you just want a cuddle.
@djladylexie
Orange Juice is a drink made of oranges. Some people refer to it as OJ. One of the most famous OJ's is O J Simpson who dun a murder (allegedly). Before all that murder malarky he was a famous American football player. Football is a game played with a ball. British people call football 'football'. One such football player is John Barnes. He played for Liverpool and Watford and Newcastle United. He also played for England. The link ere is football so we is goin wiv a song wot he sung an rapped on wot is World In Motion by New Order which is about world cup fing or summat. We hates football.

What a great new group and song this weeks winner is. Orange Juice is a great way to start your day. I always like cranberries and a good cup of coffee. Start your day with "Wake Up and Smell the Coffee'.
@claptonterrier
Orange Juice actually recorded an album called Rip It Up and that a lady called Louise Waddle was credited with doing “handclapping” on it. That made us think about other famous songs featuring clapping. Mr John Mellencamp recorded a song called Jack & Dianne and he clapped along with his vocal in order to keep his singing in rhythm. When he listened back to the song he liked the clapping so much that he decided to keep it, so that is our choice this week.
An the winner as chosen by @kelsoterrier dus be ....... @djladylexie oh ... that is me! heehee .... Guess is me dad again wot be choosin next week.
Ere wot Kelso said: I choose link 5 this week coz it made me laugh so much, even if it is England Football song and I'm not the biggest En-ger-land fan in the world. The author of link 2 should get points deducted (if this is even possible) for suggesting to a judge from Dundee (the home of marmalade!) that it originates from near Glasgow!!! :-O How very dare you, BOL!
