@skye613
Welcome and congrats to Pepper N Spot. Cool tune. So this week the song title jumped out at me. Got to thinking about famous Christines'. Prior to joining Fleetwood Mac, Christine McVie was the lead singer for Chicken Shack. My linky to Glass Eye- Christine is "I'd Rather Go Blind ", Chicken Shack.

Hello Mis Lexie…last week our winner was a song called “Christine”…..and in our view there is only once Christine in music and that is Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac…so this week our linky is “songbird” sung by Christine McVie…
@wotterface
Last week's winner was Pepper n Spot with Glass Eye. Well done pals, what a start! The lead singer of Glass Eye, Kathy McCarty was in a film called "Slacker". Slacker movies are about people who don't actually do much and lack ambition. The song I've chosen has the line "they're saying wake up you need to make money", which is very anti slacker. My song this week is Twenty One Pilots with "Stressed Out".
@terenceterrier
larst week lexieschain newbies Pepper n Spot had beginners luck n winned wiv da linky “Christine” by Glass Eye. Corse any menshun of dat werd glass n immediately we fink of da David Bowie Glass Spider Tour (mum woz at Wembley gig). Dis woz in 1987 da same decade as da winning linky larst week. Cos our pals are “Absolute Beginners” at dis chainy malarky I gives yoo da live vershun from dat gig.
Last week's winner was @pepperandspot with "Glass Eye - Christine" the theme is eyes or the loss of them, I'm keeping it with eyes by thinking of Amore sung by Dean Martin, the words go "when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie....." This was the theme to the charming film "moonstruck " with Cher.
@pepperandspot
So we have Glass eye singing Christine..... One of Custards favourite things apart from Me and Spot and her, is Fleetwood Mac and the lovely Christine Mc Vie. We were lucky enough to see them last year at the IOW festival. So our linky this week is Don't Stop, by Fleetwood Mac.
@sonikebt
Well done @pepperandspot for winning with your very first link "Christine" by Glass Eye. Glass Eye's musical style was considered unusual with occasional tendencies for avant-garde, which is experimental or innovative music that pushes the boundaries. One experimental band who pioneered electronic music and is cited as an influence to a diverse range of artists including Bjork, OMD, Prodigy and Daft Punk is Kraftwerk. David Bowie's 1977 album Heroes includes the track "V-2 Schneider" which is a tribute to Kraftwerk founding member Florian Schneider who Bowie acknowledged as an influence at that time. So we have chosen that track, which was also the B-side to Bowie's "Heroes" single, as our link this week.
@djladylexie
Christine? Well there was a movie called Christine which was about an evil car. That filum was directed by John Carpenter. John Carpenter also directed the movie Halloween (wot is also scary) which starred Jamie Lee Curtis in her first movie in 1978. Jamie Lee Curtis is married to Christopher Guest who starred in, wrote and directed This Is Spinal Tap a British heavy metal rock band mockumentary comedy. In honour of this great film we are choosing the greatest British metal song of all time Ace of Spades. RIP Lemmy.
