Well as I sit here in a sun puddle on the end of da bed, while mum sips her tea, I do hear all da songbirds in the garden especially the Blackbirds. So my linky this week is The Beatles "blackbird" from the white album.
@maggietkat
Well done Clapton with fleetwood Mac and Songbird. George Martin died this week, so I couldn't help but think about another bird, Blackbird sung by Paul McCartney and the Beatles.
@cloonfourmegan
Last week Clapton won with Songbird written and sung by Christine McVitie. Songbird was also the title of the album and sung by Eva Cassidy. She also famously sang Fields of Gold on that album and we pick that lovely song sung by the very lovely Mr Sting.

Larst week little pal Clapton winned wiv “Songbird” by Fleetwood Mac. Dey had a big hit wiv an instrumental abowt annuva bird “Albatross”. @diamondbertie
Last week @claptonterrier won with the great choice Songbird sung by Christine McVie, a lovely song, not heard it before, thank you. My choice this week is Bob Marley singing Three Little Birds my reason is the "bird" connection I know a bit thin but I love it his song, this was used to great effect in the film Legend.
@sonikebt
@claptonterrier won last week with "Songbird" by Christine McVie. This week our choice is a song (music really) about a bird which, in 2015, was voted Britain's favourite piece of classical music. Our link is the glorious "The Lark Ascending" by Vaughan Williams, played by Nicola Benedetti.
@djladylexie
Songbird is a great song. A songbird is a little birdy wot likes to perch and sing and everyone heard the phrase she sings like a canary. A canary is a little bird with a sweet voice. So we goin wiv Annie Lennox and Little Bird.
An da winner as choosed by Clapton dus be .................. oh flippin flip is me again! Pfftttt
Ere wot Clapton said: Hello Miss Lexie. Our choice of linky this week is Link No 7. Everyone chose really good songs and we had thought of some of them ourselves….but it has been ages sine we heard Annie Lennox …..so that was the narrow tie-breaker….
