Well done Terence with Sir Andrew's "I am the Starlight". The song deals with self realization and striving for the best through adversity. The song that reminds me of finding one's strength is "I am woman" sung by Helen Reddy.

So last week there was lots of reference to starlight in the winning song. We thought about songs with starlight in the lyrics. One that popped into the mind was "starlight starbright" which are lyrics from Joni Mitchell This Flight Tonight and once we thought of that we didn't need to go any further as its a beautiful song so that's our chain link this week This Flight Tonight by Joni Mitchell.

Well done to the super terrier @terenceterrier who won last week with "Starlight" from the musical Starlight Express. The lyrics from Starlight Express were written by Richard Stilgoe. Richard Stilgoe is renowned for being able to make up songs very quickly about anything from Packed lunches to double chemistry with Mr Barkfield. I best remember him making a song about all the items on the Saturday Swapshop board. In the early eighties he was all the quizmaster of a children programme called Finders Keepers which was based on a game of battleships. My linky shall be the song Finders Keepers by the indie rock back You Me at Six. (I would like to apologise in advance as the video uses "Your" when they really mean "you're").

Da only Andrew Lloyd Webber we know is Jesus Christ Superstar but we av listened to lots of Julian Lloyd Webber, researchin we learnt dat Julian's Godfather wuz Herbert Howells whose music we luvs. Howells composed beautiful religious music n our linky is his deeply personal n wonderfully tranquil Requiem, dis wuz composed not fer Jesus but fer his young son. It is vewy moving. Howells Requiem aeternam II).

He also famously wrote Phantom of the Opera so this week I have been thinking about songs about ghosts….The Police had an album called Ghosts in the Machine…and from the album we have chosen the song Spirits in the Material World…

Well as we all dus know Starlight Express dus be abowty trains. Well trains dus go back and forth taking people all over da place. When you is waitin for a train it seems to take a long time to come. Sometimes you be waitin to go to work or to go to a show like Starlight Express and sometimes you dus be waitin to meet someone who is comin to you or bringins you somfink wot is gonna change your life. So we dus be choosin The Train Is Coming from da pawsome Ken Boothe!

Well, *clears throat* STARLIGHT EXPRESS, YOU MUST CONFESS ARE YOU REAL, YES OR NO?!?! We love Starlight Express! We did some research and looked at famous people who had been in Starlight Express and Danny John Jules popped up. We found he's been in a Wham video too but don't like Wham. He was also in The GreatMuppet Caper so we chose a Muppet song. Sung by Gonzo and also performed at Jim Henson's funeral. We bring you "I'm going to go back there someday" *passes tissues*.

Well Done Skye with There is a light that never goes out. Johnnie Marr played a Rickenbacker guitar and said that George Harrison and James Honeyman-Scott were among his influences. I went on a search for Rickenbacker guitarists.

There are so many great guys that it was hard to choose. I finally narrowed it to Steven Van Zandt with the E Street Band. Here is Bruce Springsteen and band playing "Thunder Road".

Well done Skye!!!!! Love the Smiths. I got thinking about the lyrics about crashing in vehicles which is my link. That reminded me of a song Mom likes to croak out when she is nostalgic. So, from 1964 here is J Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers with their one hit wonder, "Last Kiss". Pearl Jam also recorded this some and I love the warble in Eddie Vender's voice, but I prefer the simplicity and innocence in J Frank Wilson's version.

Madonna of course collaborated with Nile Rogers as both a writer and producer and thinking about that took us in an easy bound to Chic who have been playing all the festivals this summer. So, last week was Madonna with Ray of Light. Madonna worked with producer William Orbit a lot around this time. Planets orbit in space and David Bowie did a lot of stuff about space. David Bowie also started in the 80's film Labyrinth and our favourite bit from that is when Sarah meets the Fireys in the forest. So our pick this week is "Chilly Down" from Labyrinth. (Listen out for Danny John Jules doing vocals).

Madge recorded the song Ray of Light workin wiv english electronic producer and moosician William Orbit. Orbit went on to form the band Torch Song. A torch shines a beam of light too. Torches be pretty handy for seein fings. You can use torches underwater too when you go diving or snorkelling at night. A great place to dive or snorkel wiv a torch is in a lagoon. So we dus be choosing William Orbít's The Last Lagoon.

Well done on last week's win with Blur's Parklife. We were watching some live Blur yesterday and we noticed a line about those pigeons you find in a park. There's lots of other birds you find in the park - geese, ducks, swans, sparrows, blackbirds and...Starlings by Elbow.  This is a version at Abbey Road with the BBC concert orchestra.

Ola.. Miss Lexie….here is my chain entry. Last week you chose a song called ParkLife by Blur. On the cover of that record was, famously, a shot of some greyhounds and the inside of the Parklife album was lots of shots of the band at Walthamstow Greyhound Racing track. Walthamstow is an area of London with the postcode E17 so this week my link is “Stay Another Day” by the band East 17 who came from Walthamstow.

Parklife da LP is a gweat celebwation of southern England. Dad grew up in da souf wiv its accents dat you can actually understand n as a teenager he wud escape da confines of his religious school whenever he cud n rush to Brighton fer pubs, Punk Rock, da Mod revival n da cinema where he saw Phil Daniels in Quadrophenia n whose character Jimmy also sped to Brighton fer its buzz. Dad never had a scooter but his Dad wuz a Ford man, not da executive Granada dat Phil Daniels dwives in Parklife but Cortinas MKI n MKII n Dagenham's finest is celebwated in our linky by The Lambrettas a Brighton Mod band wot Dad first saw playin on da back of a lorry on da seafront. Dad fawt da family dwove a pwactical saloon car not a vehicle fer da sort of hanky panky revealed in "Cortina".

Morning chainees well done Lexie again you are on a roll. There are lots and lots of places to go from Parklife by Blur. The one I have chosen is to use Phil Daniels the actor who guests on Parklife. He is perhaps best known for his role as Jimmy in the film of Quadrophenia. there are lots of great songs on the soundtrack of The Who rock opera but my favourite is 515 so that's the one I have chosen Good luck everyone.

Well done Lexie giving us Parklife by Blur. I thought about trying to link with another song about parks or even about dogs in parks. Thinking about dogs in park I thought back to my fond memories of meeting border terriers at tweet ups in parks. My favourite has been the BTGwandDayOwt in Bristol. This then made me think of the brilliant animator who created Gromit. The one and only Nick Park. Miss Wyn chose a song called “Where’s My Jumper”…and it occurred to me that jumpers are usually made from wool…all types of wool….and I am of course made of knitting of the finest mohair wool from the high Himalayas...…so this week my choose is the Knitting Song by Bill Oddie! So, last week was a song by Whitney Houston wondering where broken hearts go. We don't know that, we also don't know where anything that's lost is, stuff always gets lost like coins down the back of the sofa, tennis balls float off down rivers (I'm still traumatised by that incident) and people lose jumpers.  So our chain this week is an ode to a lost jumper: Sultans of Ping FC with Where's Me Jumper.

Great job as always DJ Lexie! A sad week around the world with the passing of Robin Williams. Whitney Houston died Feb 11, 2012, Robin Williams 18 months later on Aug 11, 2014. The words of this Annie Lennox song hit me as I was doing my search for this week. " Dying is easy it's the living that scares me to death." " Cold ".

Morning all so Lexie won last week with Whitney Houston. We know we should be choosing a bit of Techno if we want to win but sadly we don't know much about that so have gone all mainstream this week. We have used the word Houston to give us the link and there is one very famous musician born in Houston and that's Beyoncé so how about a bit of Single Ladies by Beyoncé.

Congwatulashuns on a super win. Bein a deep finkin fur I noticed dat Whitney's surname is da name of a city in Texas, named after da general dat defeated da Mexican army n secured Texan independence. Dis made us fink of Mexican music n musicians wiv places in deir names. Camilo Lara a producer n dj used to put together cds of songs n samples fer fwends n wuz encouraged to release da music. He did so usin da moniker Mexican Institute of Sound. It's witty catchy electronica n "ESCRÍBEME PRONTO" our linky has long bin Dad's ringtone.

Larst week da DJ Lady Lexie winned wiv “Where Do Broken hearts go” by Whitney Houston. Whitney woz in da luvvly fillum “The Bodyguard” wiv Kevin Costner and singed track “ I will always love you” wot be one of our favrit songies. But I didna wanna be boring so am still choosing it as my linky but sung by Leona Lewis. In best Tucker tradition this is a live vershun taken from before she winned da X factor n woz super famuss.

Dat songy did make us think about Whitney singing 'I will always love you' dat wos written by Dolly Parton. Dolly is rilly good at writing love songys and singing love songys and lyke 'Here You Come Again' which is also about tryin to get ova someone wot keeps coming back so dat our linky dis week.

I see that you won with a song called “Where do broken hearts go?”…well, I don’t know where they go but I do know that another place that hearts have been found in music is at the “Dark End of the Street”….my choice this week is a version of that song by The Commitments…its a song about cheating on a loved one…so perhaps that is where the broken heart started its journey….

Ere wot Dad said bowty it: Very difficult as usual! The one that made me laugh out loud, an inspired link, was Sultans of Ping FC with Where's Me Jumper. Well done to that chainer. Close second was Cold by Annie Lennox and I liked the tributes to Robin Williams. Very sad.
