Lexie's Chain: The Hundred and Sixty Seventh Chain

Hello pals! Welcome to week 167 of #lexieschain. Last week da winner was me wiv feem toon from Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. Let's see wot we gots dis week:

@wotterface
This weeks winner was taken from the film Goodbye Mr Lawrence, which stars David Bowie, Tom Conti and Takeshi Kitano. Takeshi Kitano was also in Battle Royale, a film that is very similar to the recent Hunger Games series. The artist Birdy was on the Hunger Games soundtrack and so we've chosen the beautiful Shelter by Birdy this week.

@claptonterrier
Getting it in early this week Miss Lexie….we noticed that in your link last week you said that Ruichi Sakamoto played a captain in the film Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence….I imagine he must have made a fantastic captain…and that made us think of another fantastic captain, Elton John, known as Captain Fantastic (& the Brown Dirt Cowboy, with his partner Bernie Taupin)….this year is the 40th anniversary of his most successful album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road…..so we are choosing the title song from that album as our linky this week….(and with the bonus of added muppets in the video!!)…

@thisbear
The last link was "Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence" by Ryuichi Sakamoto from the film of the same name, which starred David Bowie. Bowie became very involved in the music scene in West Berlin in the late 70s. In the 1980s an Australian bloke called Nick Cave also spent some time in the city, even appearing in cult German film "Der Himmel über Berlin". Here's Mr Cave and his Bad Seeds performing "Red Right Hand".

@terenceterrier
The winnin linky last week chosen by dat very discerning judge TT woz da feem toon from da movie “Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence” wot be abowt a prizna of war camp in Japan. Me geograffee int too good but I finks Japan next to China. Da movie stars David Bowie. So my linky dis week be summat prediktablee be da Bowie songy “China Girl”.

@smcheetham
Morning well done Lexie For your win last week. I have chosen the reference from the film merry Christmas mr Lawrence to remind me of a very famous band that had one of the biggest Xmas songs and that is Slade. The song of theirs that I like the most is Come on feel the Noise though they spelt it differently of course. Anyways that's my song this week have a good one.

@freddie_bt
Dad never ad a David Bowie recordin, not that he duznt like da songs, deys bwilliant but he wont conform, Punk suited his contrary uncooperative demeanour but we's space hoppin to da late 70s when our linky is early 70s Glam, its a Bowie song but not a Bowie recordin. Secwetly I fink Dad fancied twyin to be cool n a dude but didnt dare twy it, anyways time to splash yourselves wiv Brut 33, spray Harmony on your perms n don your Foster Grant Aviators as Ian Hunter leads Mott the Hoople in dat rallyin call to "All the Youing Dudes".

@kelsoterrier
I been looking this week to try to get a link to Ryuichi Sakamoto & a song I think may be called Forbidden Colours but it may just be called theme to Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence or Kyoto Theme. After much searching of Wikipedia and thinking of loads of Japanese links and seeing lots of Japanese writing I started to think I was turning Japanese (not in the rude sense!). For this reason I have chosen as my link Turning Japanese by The Vapors.

@borderpup
Well done Lexie on last week's winning entry of the lovely feem from the war film 'Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence'. So many direkshuns to go from there. In the end we decided to go for a song about a different kind of conflict from annuver Laurence and we bring you 'Gunfight' from Mr Laurence Fox. Mum's not obsessed with the tv show 'Lewis', no, not at all!

@bunnersandharvs
Well a big and happy cheers to dat Lexie fur her winning Linky last week, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence by Ryuichi Sakamoto. It's a songy about war and dat haunting theme gots us thinking about another songy which is sad and also about war. However, dis one is about da Civil War in da States. It dus be about da anguish of dem Confereerate soldiers and dus be by 'The Band' and is 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down. It is a good toon but a sad toon too. Good luck and enjoy choosing pal.

@diamondbertie
Last weeks winner the music from the film Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence by Ryuichi Sakamoto, lovely haunting music. I wanted to stay with the Japanese theme and I thought of the music from the Bridge on the River Kwai, but I changed my mind and I choose instead the Overture from the Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan, he was also a despot but the operetta manages to keep a lightness which we need.

@skye613
Congrats to the great DJ Lexie for a super win last week. So using two words from the song title I find my link. At Christmas people go to some form of religious service. The first song in many services is Kyrie Elesion. So I put together Christmas & Mister. My link " Kyrie " by Mr. Mister . This after much head banging. BOL .

@maggietkat
Well done, Lexie! Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence stars David Bowie. One of his movies that I did see was The Hunger. (Mom has a thing for Susan Sarandon, but we don't discuss it! MOL!) The opening track is by Bauhaus, "Bela Lugosi's Dead", my link of the week.

An da winner ... as chosen by  .... ma dad ...... dus be .............. @WOtterface. Yay! So dat meant you dus be choosin next week.

Ere wot the dad said: No Girls Aloud? No Prodigy? Ha-ha ;). Turning Japanese was a good one. I'm not a huge Bowie fan but a good link. I've chosen link number one - I like the movie Hunger Games and have seen Battle Royale. I liked Birdy's singing, never heard her before. So Link No 1 for me.

So it's over to you. Email me: lexie at toxicpenguin dot com or DM me on twitter (@dogstoyevsky) wiv your link suggestion followin on from dis one! You has until 6th April 2014 (gets it to me by 2pm UK time if poss). Oh sometimes I dus accidentally delete em! Heehee. So good idea to type DO NOT DELETE in the title and dussnt forget to send a linky to da video from You Tube!

Lexie's Chain dus be inspired by da pawsome Radcliffe & Maconie Show wot you can has a listen to on dere website. Follow me @dogstoyevsky or #lexieschain on Twitter to join da fun. Remember anyfink goes! Rock, classical, opera, ballads, punk, reggae - is up to you! Fanx for playin!

Lexie's Chain: The Hundred And Sixty Sixth Chain

Hello pals! Welcome to week 166 of #lexieschain. Last week da winner was Terence wiv Lawrence of Arabia feem toon. Let's see wot we gots dis week:

@skye613
Well done Terence! Magnificent score and movie. Lawrence of Arabia was released in 1962 when I was just starting to really listen to music. From the deserts and horses to the jungle and lions. This is the very first 45 RPM ( Anyone remember these? ) I bought with my own money in 1962.

@freddie_bt
Congratulations to Terence fer a super winning entry. Before WW1 Lawrence disembarked n stayed in Beirut during 2 lengthy trips to da Middle East to study culture n archaeology. His hope in WW1 wuz fer Arab unity n fer a long time Lebanon was peaceful, Beirut wuz prosperous n young n old, Christians n Muslims enjoyed life. This changed wiv da Civil War which still scars Beirut. Our linky is a lament for dat lost Beirut life, now sadly it could equally apply to Cairo, Damascus, Aleppo. Singin da hauntin "Beirut" is da beautiful Lebanese singer Yasmine Hamdan.

@diamondbertie
These weeks come round very fast. Last weeks winner was @terenceterrier with the music from Lawrence of Arabia by Maurice Jarre, it was so evocative of the desert and its beauty, my choice is also by Maurice Jarre the main theme of Doctor Zhivago, a fantastic film and the music capture perfectly the frozen desert of Siberia and the conflict of the Russian Revolution.

@bunnersandharvs
Well here's a very big and hoooge well dun to Terence fur his eggcellent linky last week. Laurence of Arabia's theme toons. Now your selecshun was cos you thort about deserts and your selecshun made us think about war and da struggles hoomans has because of it. So, dis also made us think about another moovie about war called Apocolypse Now which dus be all about the Vietnam War. So and well and one of da theme songs in da moovie and apparently a theme fur dem troops in Vietnam was 'I Can't Get No Satisfaction' by da Rolling Stones so dat is our linky! Have a grrreaat time choosing Terence.

@WOtterface
OK, Lawrence of Arabia was born in Tremadog, Wales. And the lovely lady Duffy was too (or thereabouts) so we're going for Duffy and 'Mercy'. Not too complicated this week.

@maggietkat
Well done Terence! Mom recalls seeing the second release of Lawrence of Arabia in high school, so this brought back a flood of memories. The film took home 10 Academy awards, 5 British film awards, and 6 Golden Globes, including the Oscar for Best Picture in 1962. The winner of Best Picture in 1961 happens to be one of my favorite musicals, West Side Story. So my chain is awards. This West Side Story song shows all the hope in your heart, "Something's Coming". I have chosen the incomparable Shirley Bassey for this link.

@thisbear
Last link was music from "Lawrence of Arabia". I don't have T.E. Lawrence's travel itinerary here but there is a good chance that he took the Night Boat To Cairo on his way to Arabia.

@djladylexie
Lawrence of Arabia – is a mewvie based on the life of Thomas Lawrence a british army officer in WWI. Annuva filum what we was reminded of with lawrence in the title is Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence about army officers held in a Japanese prisoner of war camp in WWII. Dis movie stars David Bowie. So we chooses da haunting theme from that movie by Ryuichi Sakamoto also know as Kyoto them (Sakamoto also starrted in the movie as Captain Yonoi).

An da winner ... as chosen by  .... @terenceterrier ...... dus be .............. @djladylexie aka me! Booo! Well done me! So dat mean dad dus be choosin next week.

Ere wot Terence said: I haz made my decishun. There were some cleva linkies and songs dis week. But I chooses linky numba 8 as my winna. It was a cleva linky and a luvvly toon ( and I denies being pressurised by mum who haz been doin rabbit-caught-in-headlights impersinayshun since she saw piccy of Bowie)..

So it's over to you. Email me: lexie at toxicpenguin dot com or DM me on twitter (@dogstoyevsky) wiv your link suggestion followin on from dis one! You has until 30th March 2014 (gets it to me by 2pm UK time if poss). Oh sometimes I dus accidentally delete em! Heehee. So good idea to type DO NOT DELETE in the title and dussnt forget to send a linky to da video from You Tube!

Lexie's Chain: The Hundred and Sixty Fifth Chain

Hello pals! Welcome to week 165 of #lexieschain. Last week da winner was Freddie wiv Horse Wiv No Name. Let's see wot we gots dis week:

@WOtterface
So, America and Horse With No Name. After a bit of research and toying with the idea of bands who were named after geographical locations etc, we looked at what films/TV this song has featured in instead. We knew it from Breaking Bad but it also featured in Good Morning Vietnam, as did Don't Worry Baby by The Beach Boys. The Beach Boys were from California and The B-side to A Horse With No Name was a track called Everyone I Meet Is From California. It's like a double pronged attack! So our choice this week is Don't Worry Baby, sit back and enjoy those harmonies. (sorry linky wuddnt work in blogger so picked annuva one).

@maggietkat
Well done Freddie! "Horse with no name" took Mom back to college years (mom didn't inhale). I was amazed to find out that America was managed by George Martin (the fifth Beatle) who also managed Cheap Trick. Originally a bar band in Mom's home state, they are known for "hits" like "I want you to want me". Later personnel changes examined the "Midwest" Beatles moniker. They did a concert, "Sgt Pepper Live" which was released in 2009. Their version of "Daytripper" is not to be missed. HOWEVER, the truly surprising part of this band's history is a collaboration with John Lennon. My chain is "I'm Losing You" with John Lennon and Cheap Trick.

@thisbear
Last link was America with "A Horse With No Name". Johnny Cash's "Boy Named Sue" spent most of his life wishing his dad had left him with no name. Was going to go with one of Mr Cash's own versions of his song but stumbled on this awesome cover version by the Polish musician Maciej Maleńczuk - so here is "Chłopiec o imieniu Sue". (sorry annuva one wot won't work in blogger so you has to click the linky to see it)

@skye613
So many ways to go from this great link. Congrats Freddie! Was all set with another link when I got to thinking about the word horse. Of course the animal but the word also is street slang for heroin. This is a game about music & I wonder what the musical landscape would be like if so many had not been lost to this drug. My link this week is Neil Young's " The Needle and The Damage Done" covered by Lori McKenna.

@diamondbertie
Last week @freddie_bt won by choosing Horse with no Name, by America. I shall keep to the theme of these wonderful animals (horses) by choosing the theme from the film The Horse Whisperer, with they fabulous Robert Redford in the staring role.

@terenceterrier
So da winnin linky woz “A horse with no name” by America. @Freddie_BT sez it be abowt deserts. This made me fink abowt da film Lawrence of Arabia cos there were lotsa scenes in it wiv deserts. So I choose da Lawrence of Arabia theme toon suite as my linky . It be composed and conducted by Maurice Jarre.

@bunnersandharvs
Well dun to you Freddie fur another great linky last week. Da songy by America - 'Horse with no name' wos interstin in dat it was written here in da UK and den went to America. Dis made us think of another songy by Neil Diamond called America. Why? Cos is a song about peoples immigrating to America and da songy is also called 'Coming to America' and dat wot da group America kind of had to do wid your linky Horse With No Name too! So get your paws tapping and get ready to groove.....you going to America....today!

@claptonterrier
Hello Miss Lexie…last week mr Freddie chose a song by America called Horse with no Name….he also mentioned another song of theirs called Ventura Highway …that made me think about another song which mentions that road….the lyric is “All the vampires, living in the valley, move west dan, Ventura Boulevard….”…its a song called Freefallin’ by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and that is my link this week…

@borderpup
We has to link from 'Horse with No Name' by America. Hmm ... well, the chaps in America were sons of US Air Force personnel stationed in England during the war. Their base was a place called Bushey Hall, near St Albans in Hertfordshire.

After the RAF had moved out, it became a golf club. What do you hope to get if you play golf? A hole in one! Speaking of holes .... my linky is 'There's a Hole in the Bucket' by Harry Belafonte. (I reckon the sun must have gone to mum's brain!)

@djladylexie
There are plenty of horses wiv names though. For instance, Redrum was a very famous British horse. He was the most famous horse in the UK closely followed by Black Beauty as the second. So we gives you the feem to Black Beauty one of mum's favourite shows when she ickle!

@smcheetham
Well that clever Freddie won again last week with horse with no name. we have taken the no name bit to link to an artist that had no name at one time and who became the The Artist Formerly Know as Prince and was represented by a symbol. This was done to resolve some difficult contractual position he found himself in. So from a horse with no name to a man with no name our choice is When Doves Cry by Prince. Enjoy the weather everyone.

An da winner ... as chosen by  .... @freddie_bt...... dus be .............. @terenceterrier. Yay!! Well done ma pal! So dat mean you dus be choosin next week.

Ere wot Freddie said: We always finds dis judgin so hard but in da end it came down to a choice of 3, linky 1 coz of Good Morning Vietnam a gweat film, linky 4 coz Dad also despairs at da destructive nature of drugs but our winner is linky 6. We luvs da film n da score is such majestic evocative music.

So it's over to you. Email me: lexie at toxicpenguin dot com or DM me on twitter (@dogstoyevsky) wiv your link suggestion followin on from dis one! You has until 23rd March 2014 (gets it to me by 2pm UK time if poss).

Lexie's Chain: The Hundred and Sixty Fourth Chain

Hello pals! Welcome to week 164 of #lexieschain. Last week da winner was Indie wiv  Wild Horses by The Flying Burritos. Let's see wot we gots dis week:

@maggietkat
Well done @borderpup! So many way to play this. My first thought was Gram Parsons to The Byrds to Easy Rider soundtrack to "the Weight" and then to any number of artists. But, I thought I would lay off last century and pick a more current number. So, my link is "Horses", specifically "black Horse and cherry tree" by KT Tunstall. You should see Mom do a cha cha cha when she hears that song! TMI and scary. Oh no! Erase that mental picture!

@thisbear
The last link was "Wild Horses" by Gram Parsons. Poor Gram Parsons had an infamous death - an overdose of morphine & alcohol at 26 years old.

Otis Redding was excited about trying out a new style of music when he recorded "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" in December 1967. Sadly only a couple of days after the recording session, Redding was killed when the plane he was on crashed into Lake Monona in Wisconsin. Like Parsons, he was only 26 years when he died. A sad linky but a lovely tune ...

@freddie_bt
Gram Parsons invented Country Rock n he also loved Joshua Tree National Monument a vast area of desert in SE California. Dad's favwite landscape is desert n his favwite country rock is da laid back soft sound of America. Dewey Bunnell wuz inspired by the landscape of California, Arizona n New Mexico in his 2 finest songs, Ventura Highway n our linky A Horse WIth No Name. Da lyrics try to voice why people includin Parsons are drawn to da fragile shifting landscape of deserts, at first glance harsh n empty but in reality full of life n beauty.

@skye613
Another great week on the chain and a great win for @borderpup! Well Gram Parsons takes me right to Emmylou Harris. In 1972 Gram heard Emmylou in DC and invited her to sing on his now classic first solo LP "GP". They toured together in early 1973. When Gram Parsons died in September of 1973 Emmylou wrote "Boulder to Birmingham" . Which in her words "was written in the throes of deep grief and shock, after losing someone that quickly and unexpectedly".

@diamondbertie
Last weeks winner was @borderpup who chose Wild Horses by the Flying Burrito Brothers
I choose this song from the film The Blues Brothers, this film I seen many times and some of the one liners still make me laugh the song is Rawhide, I defy anyone watching this and not manage to laugh.
Why? Because the title Wild Horses got me thinking of horsey or western themes.

@claptonterrier
Hi Miss Lexie…last week Mr Indie chose the song Wild Horses…and the lyrics for that song include the line “wild horses couldn’t drag me from you”…i think those horses might need some extra oomph…so this week our link is “Horse Power” by the Chemical Brothers

@smcheetham
Hi all on this glorious Sunday. Last week @borderpup won with Wild Horses by Gram Parsons. We have used the horses part of this to find our chain link this week. A truly influential and iconic album is Horses by Patti Smith released in 1975 would you believe. I have not however chosen a song from that album but have gone for Because the Night as that is such a great cover of a Bruce Springsteen song so the link of horses takes me to this song. Have a great week chain pals.

@terenceterrier
Last week da winnin linky be “Wild Horses” by The Flying Burritos. Dis title made me fink of a wild horse from mum’s favrit TV programme when she be a pup. So my linky be “Champion The Wonder Horse” by Frankie Laine.

@djladylexie
We finkin bowt Gram Parsons an is influences over many artists, strangely, two of whom has written songs about horses ad has also featured togeva on a tribute album to Gram Parsons himself! One was EmmyLou Harris who also sang Ballad of a Runaway Horse. On the album The Return of the Grievous Angel: A Tribute to Gram Parsons Emmylou Harris sings Sin City wiv Beck. Beck also wrote a song which includes reference to horses. Namely, Farewell Ride. So dat our linky – Farewell Ride, Beck. Fanx.

@bunnersandharvs
A veree big well dun to you Indy fur da winning linky last week Wild Horses. Is a great songy which was apparently about being sad fur being on da road far away frum home so it made us think about da rilly old songy by Vera Lynn 'We'll Meet Again....don't know where don't know when cos dey is sad abowt being far away from homey tooo. Hit it pals....

An da winner ... as chosen by  .... @borderpup  ...... dus be .............. @freddie_bt! Yay well done ma pal Freddie! So dat mean you dus be choosin next week.

Ere wot Indie said: Wow, some terrific tunes this week!  One linky has to be the winner tho, and we have chosen No.3. We like the link wiv the desert and how it has inspired the artists menshuned. Also the desert feem is topical wiv it being Lent, but that's another subject!

There was some great nostalgia for mum too - speshul menshun for No. 8 cos Champion the Wonder Horse was one of her favourite TV programmes too! And beautiful and poignant songs from Nos. 2 and 4 and great music from the other entries.

So it's over to you. Email me: lexie at toxicpenguin dot com or DM me on twitter (@dogstoyevsky) wiv your link suggestion followin on from dis one! You has until 16th March 2014 (gets it to me by 2pm UK time if poss). Ooo is mum's birfdee that day!

Sunday 2 March 2014

Lexie's Chain: The Hundred and Sixty Third Chain

Hello pals! Welcome to week 163 of #lexieschain. Last week da winner was Clapton wiv Aerosmith an Back in the Saddle. Lets see wot we gots dis week:

@maggietkat
Well done Clapton with Areosmith's "Back in the Saddle". Being an older American, I have memories of Western crooners from the 50's, specifically Gene Autry and his version of "Back in the Saddle Again" comes to mind.

Since I didn't want to proposed essentially the same title 2 weeks in a row, I have chose another of his hits. My link this week is "Ghost Riders in the Sky", not my favorite rendition, but works for this link. Enjoy (she says with trepidation)!

@Wotterface
We thought about saddles and different kind of saddles and our thoughts rested on horses and the lovely Alison Goldfrapp riding on a funky disco horse. We love the seventies vibe in the video too. Our choice is Goldfrapp and Ooh La la.

@diamondbertie
Last week @claptonterrier won with Back in the Saddle by Aerosmith I thought of cycling music I kept thinking of a wonderful animation called The Triplets of Belleville or the French Version Belleville Rendezvous, I laugh at it every time and the music is so fitting.

@skye613
Well done Mr. Clapton ! "Back In The Saddle" took me right to westerns. I have had the good fortune to spend a day in Tombstone ,AZ where parts of my favorite western were filmed. Of course it is the 1993 version of Tombstone . Love Val Kilmer's line " I'm your huckleberry " . My link this week is the great "Tombstone Blues" by Bob Dylan. This version is by Sheryl Crow .

@thisbear
The last link left us with Aerosmith telling us to get "Back in the saddle" so I did just that. Got back on my pony and jumped a few fences and hoped that The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band might come along and erect an "Equestrian Statue" of us. Clip clop clip clop.

@freddie_bt
Da first time Dad heard Aerosmmith wuz when he wuz sent deir LP by mistake when he mail ordered L by Steve Hillage. Months later his music listenin changed wen Punk reached da UK. He didn't listen to Aerosmith again until deir unlikely collaboration wiv Run DMC & it made us fink of other unexpected collaborations. Da most bizarre n explosive we cud fink of wuz Phil Spector producin The Ramones, no supwise in retrospect dat Spector threatened dem wiv a gun. So our linky is da archetypal punks The Ramones thankfully unburdened by da wall of sound. Da video might be 10+ minutes but you get your moneys worth coz dere's 5 songs ere, last but not least da bwilliant Commando.

@terenceterrier
Last week linky wos by Aerosmith and called “Back in the Saddle” . Scary lot or wot? Strong resemblance to zombies or evil ghosties. Corse if yoo be riding yoo could also be on a horsey. So for our linky i choose “Ghost Riders in the Sky” . Dis haz bin recorded by many great people however I chooses a vershun by Debbie Harry cos I fort I might get brownie points wiv da judge for including a good looking blonde biddy in my linky.

@smcheetham
Morning chainees Clapton chose a song which was called back in the saddle. we know Clapton is a keen cyclists but saddles are also used for people riding horses as well as bikes. That is what I have used for my link to take me to horses and what could be better for the chain than a band of horses. So that my link Infinite Arms by Band of Horses. have a good week everyone.

@bunnersandharvs
Well dun to you Mr Clapton fur dat winnin linky last week from Aerosmith's Back in the Saddle. Dat songy of course makes us think of a songy wid a simular title by Gene Autry wot is also in da mooovie Sleepless in Seattle and dat moovie dus have another songy in it we luvs by Louis Armstrong called A Kiss to Build a Dream On.......so dat is our songy dis week. Why we going wid dat, you says? Well if you getting back in any saddle a little kiss can help you build a dream on it, init. Have a fabuloooos week pals. Xxx

@borderpup
This week we had to link from 'Back in the Saddle'. As soon as saddles are menshuned, Mum just finks of horses! (do girls ever really grow out of their horsey phase?). Anyhoo, when horses run free and don't have saddles, they are wild horses, so my linky is Wild Horses by Gram Parsons, annuver music great who also sadly died young in similar circumstances to Jim Morrison.

@kelsoterrier
One of Aerosmiths most famous recent songs is Crazy and back in the saddle makes you think of horses so my link this week is Crazy Horses by The Osmonds.

@djladylexie
Hmmm many possible roads. Bikes, Saddles, Horses, Skinny Rockers with big lips! Err … yep we go wiv dat one. Steve Tyler is the front man of Aerosmif also know as The Demon of Screamin. So, would you believe, on yootoob is a video of his top 10 screams! Haha. So we gonna use the screamin rockers for our linky. Who da boss of screaming apart from Steve, well for us it dus be nun uva dan Bon Scott from AC/DC. So here is our tribute to all the greatest rock male screams. Bon Scott and AC/DC's Shot Down In Flames.

An da winner ... as chosen by  .... @claptonterrier  ...... dus be .............. @borderpup! Yay well done ma pal Indie! So dat mean you dus be choosin next week.

Ere wot CT said: what another load of great links we had this week…..all the players are so inventive with their links and choices of music….we would like to give an honourable mention to the Ramones (fun!), and Band of Horses (who we had not heard before). We were very happy to see some of our favourite bans included too….but this week’s winner is Wild Horses by Gram Parson….one of our favourite singers singing our very favourite song…..we never get tired of hearing it whoever is singing it…woofhoo….

So it's over to you. Email me: lexie at toxicpenguin dot com or DM me on twitter (@dogstoyevsky) wiv your link suggestion followin on from dis one! You has until noon (GMT) 8th March 2014 (gets it to me by 2pm UK time if poss). Oh sometimes I dus accidentally delete em! Heehee. So good idea to type DO NOT DELETE in the title and dussnt forget to send a linky to da video from You Tube!
