Hello pals. Welcome to week 265 of #lexieschain. Last week the winner was Maggie wiv Ry Cooder and Get Rhythm. Let's see wots we got this week.

@sonikebt
@MaggieTKat won last week's chain with Ry Cooder and "Get Rhythm". As Maggie said Ry wrote the soundtrack for Paris Texas which starred Harry Dean Stanton. Our link this week is from another film starring Stanton - "Pretty in Pink" by The Psychedelic Furs.

@claptonterrier
hello Miss Lexie…last week Miss Maggie chose a song by Ry Cooder…that made us think of the book Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger….there have been many songs inspired by that book and the one we have chosen is We Didn’t Start the Fire by Billy Joel which mentions the title of the book in one of the early verses…listen closely! Woof.

@skye613
Well done Maggie, well done. When I heard the winning tune there was only one way for me to go.... I Got Rhythm!

@izzy_border
Last weeks winner was Ry Cooder and Get Rhythm. Now straight away mum found herself fixed on the word Rhythm and making the connection with Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings. Bill Wyman was the bass player with the Rolling Stones so really it has to be a Stones song. Both hoomans have loved one song in particular since they met nearly 25 years ago so it can only be Angie.

@terenceterrier
Larst week pal Maggie winned wiv da linky “Get Rhythm” by Ry Cooder. I fink once yoo gots rhythm yoo should be all set up to have a dance. So my linky dis week be a live vershun wiv Tina Turner n David Bowie wot combines two songs wiv da same title of “Let’s Dance” *bops off round da room*.

@wotterface
Last week the winning song was called "Get Rhythm". If you've got rhythm then you can dance and sometimes you've just got to dance, even if you're on your own...

@bunnersandharvs
